Welcome back to a new year at the club.
We’d like to introduce Ceri Sass, our new coaching director.
Ceri is a former Buckley gymnast and head coach and has over 30 years experience in gymnastics.
Having been a former Welsh Gymnastics’ development officer and a gymnastic club manager, she is the ideal person to help take us forward with 2024 being our 50th anniversary year.
Ceri will be overseeing the classes and guiding our coaches to help get the best out of the gymnasts.
Welcome back Ceri
Our last training session in Gwernaffield gym will be Wednesday 20 December with the first session back being Wednesday 3 January
Our last session in Buckley Leisure Centre will be Saturday 16 December, the new term will be advertised during the first week of January.
Wishing all of our gymnasts and their families a Merry Christmas.
Josh is our next club captain.
Josh was chosen as he’s an excellent role model to the younger gymnasts.
Coach Ben said “he’s a pleasure to have in the gym. He has also started coaching in the General sessions and has shown a great attitude and enjoyment in developing and helping the young gymnasts”
Josh said “I am very happy and grateful to have been chosen to be the boys club captain at Buckley Gymnastics Club.
I really enjoy being part of the Buckley team and hope I can be a good role model to the younger gymnasts.

We hope everyone enjoyed our annual club championships last weekend.
Gymnasts from our Development, General, Comp Rec and Com Squad classes took part in the annual inhouse competition.
