Reducing the risk

We recommend following the information on the Public Health Wales website regarding its coronavirus action plan.

It has some specific advice for parents and carers.

British Gymnastics is also providing regular updates.

All our classes are on this weekend as normal and we’ll be encouraging additional handwashing.

Defibrillator equipment and training

We are holding community defibrillator training sessions on Sunday 29 March at Gwernaffield Gym as we hope to secure enough money to buy one for the gym and the local community.

Defibrillators are semi-automatic devices that help someone in a cardiac arrest and our nearest defibrillator is in the church hall in Gwernaffield, about 10 minutes away.

We have teamed up with Cadwch Curiadau ‘Keep The Beats’, a dedicated North Wales NHS charity, to provide defibrillator training to our gym members, family, friends and the wider community.

The sessions will be free but we hope people will donate towards our defibrillator fund. We think it will be a really valuable session and we are happy to be working with Cadwch Curiadau.
