Thanks to all our gym families for raising a total of £3,700 in sponsor money for our 50 Miles in 50 Days appeal.
Gymnasts, siblings, families and friends completed a wide variety of activities including horse riding, bike riding, running and lots and lots of walking.
What an amazing effort – thank you so much. This goes a long way towards our grand plans to extend facilities at our Gwernaffield base.

Thanks to everyone who has helped us to make a great start to our £50,000 appeal to improve and extend facilities at our Gwernaffield gym.
So far, we held our Festival of Gymnastics, hosted a Halloween party and collected a van full of second hand clothes.
Our totalizer currently stands at £5,800 and we have yet to collect all the sponsor money from our 50 Miles in 50 Days campaign.
We know some gymnasts and families have managed to raise an impressive amount. We really appreciate all your efforts!
On 16 & 17 October our Advanced class girls competed at Deeside Academy in the North Area Classic Challenge competition- their first competition in a long time!
Day one was our older girls in the zinc and copper competition.
Zinc 12+ years- Olivia, Courtney and Issy took Team Bronze.
Issy came 1st on Vault, 1st on Bars, 5th on Floor and 4th Overall.
Courtney came 3rd on Floor.
Copper 10/11 years -Daisy 4th on Beam, 5th on Vault and 6th on Floor.
Megan, Mia, Emilia and Jessie are Copper 12+ Team Champions!
Megan placed 1st on Floor, 1st on Beam, 2nd on Bar and 6th on Vault with a 1st Overall.
Mia came 3rd Overall, 1st on floor and 6th on Beam.
Emilia came 5th on floor.
Day two was our younger gymnasts.
Zinc 9+ years- Gwennan placed 2nd on Bar.
Zinc 10/11years- Amber came 1st on Floor.
Well done to all of our gymnasts, the coaches are very proud.
A big thank you to our coaches for supporting the girls over the weekend and for judging.
