Congratulations to Advance gymnast Rosie who has been selected for the North Area Development Squad following her success at a trial in April.
Rosie, Ava and Olivia took part in the trial in Wrexham on 23 April.
Coach Tara said they had all worked “super hard”.

Sponsored tumble raises £1,398.50
A big thank you to everyone who supported our sponsored tumble and helped us to raise a whopping £1,398.50 which will go towards new equipment at our gyms at Buckley and Gwernaffield.

Gymnasts of the month: April
Advanced Gymnast of the Month goes to club captain, Bella Bailey. Bella is an example to all the girls in the club that hard work pays off. She struggles with her flexibility but has worked super hard and we have seen an improvement in her performance because of it, writes head coach Ceri.
Well done Puleng Moloi who is Youth class Gymnast of the Month. Definitely our most laid back gymnast, certainly one of our loveliest and for sure one of our most consistent and hardest working gymnasts, writes coach Helen.
Congratulations Lucy McManus who is the Intermediate class Gymnast of the Month and Evie McManus and Olivia Bellis who are Development class Gymnasts of the Month.
It’s Evie’s last month with the class as she is moving to Intermediates and we will miss her, writes coach Helen. She works so hard, never moans and is a role model to others with her persistent attitude and work ethic. So close to her flick too! Well done Evie.
Olivia has worked really hard recently and impressed us all, especially on vault and beam. Super jumping and balance. Well done Olivia.
