Girls in the North Area Squad
Over 50 gymnasts between the ages of six and 10 took part in trials for a place in the North Area Squad.
A total of 22 gymnasts were selected with Isabella Roberts and Abi Hogg selected in the nine year old category.
Neve LaFlamme and Zara Evans-McVeigh were selected for the eight and seven year old categories respectively.
The gymnasts will train once a month with Tina Williams from Welsh Gymnastics for the next six months.
Congratulations to Megan Evans who has been voted the intermediate group’s gymnast of the month for September.
Ffion Whitley (pictured) finished in 6th place on vault at the Welsh intermediate championships in Cardiff in September, writes coach Ceri Sass.
The team did well and finished in 6th place.
Over 40 children were involved in the 10/11 age group with Bella finishing 7th on bar and Amelia 12th on floor.
