Millsy’s dad recently bought something on travel website Expedia and a fraction of the purchase price – from the supplier’s profit – comes to the club. That one sale raised £7. Not bad, hey?

Stan receives a cheque on behalf of the club from Buckley Town Council
Stan was invited to the Mayor’s Annual Meeting at Buckley Town Council last Tuesday where he was presented with a cheque for £1,187.50 from the new mayor, Cllr Ian Peters.
The club was nominated for the award by the retiring Mayor Cllr Nicola Ditchburn, a former Buckley gymnast, who is the daughter of Geoff Williams, one of the club’s founder members in 1974.
Stan said the cheque is gratefully appreciated in this our 40th anniversary year and the money will be used to purchase much needed mats for Pre-School activities.
