What a weekend!

Aged 10-11 categorySuch a great weekend for the club at the North Area Novice and Intermediate Championships at Deeside Leisure Centre, writes head coach Ceri Sass.

Very proud of all the gymnasts who competed and a massive thank you to all the coaches who have helped the girls prior to the competition and have given their time to judging this weekend.

Aged 12-13 categoryWe have had aged 10-11 & 12-13 overall champions, 7-year-old team championships, vault champion, bar champion, beam champions and floor champions.

And, to top it off, Lydia has qualified in the top five to represent north area in Cardiff next weekend.

2015-16 registration time for current members

Our 2015/16 registration day for current members is Saturday 26 September between 10am and 2pm Buckley Leisure Centre. [Important information in bold]

At registration people will be asked to sign a copy of the Parent and Gymnast Code of Conduct which will be placed on file with your daughter’s registration details.

Current members’ registration forms will be available on the day for you to check and make any amendments.

The times make it possible for you to pop in and complete this registration when you drop-off or pick-up your child.

We, therefore, ask you to please make every effort to attend as the registration is part of the insurance process for the next 12 months. And any gymnast whose registration is not completed will not be accepted for training as from 1 October 2015.

Registration fees for BG/WG Membership

  • Advanced Class £25
  • Pre-Advanced £17
  • Intermediate £17
  • Development £17
  • Under 5s £11

Day out in Llanarmon yn Ial

Reminder: Fundraising Garage sale on Saturday 12 September 9am-2pm.

Viv and Don are hosting the sale in Llanarmon yn Ial. It will be under cover, so don’t worry if it’s a wet day, and if you’d like to stay around for lunch, Llanarmon has a community-run shop which sells drinks and snacks, and a community-run pub, The Raven, which will be open for lunch.

Directions: Take the A494 Ruthin road out of Mold and, after passing through Llanferres (Druid Inn on right), take the next left turn on the B5430 signposted Llanarmon yn Ial. Proceed for approximately two miles then turn right on the B5431 signposted Llanarmon yn Ial 1/4 mile. Upon entering the village follow the signs.
