By Stan Buckley, director of coaching

Our long-time friend and my mentor, Prof Walter Consonni, will be making a flying visit to the club on our return from the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships. He will be spending some time with us on Friday and Saturday 30-31 October before returning to Switzerland on Sunday.

This provides a great opportunity for parents, coaches, and class helpers with any questions about gymnastics to put them to Walter or myself at the end of the Friday evening session.

Alternatively, if you can’t make the end of the session, use the contact us page and I will put your questions to Walter and forward his reply.

Photos: Girls ‘smash it’ at intermediate competition

Posted on October 18, 2015 by Web team

Intermediate class girls “smashed it” in the North Area Gymspire competition at Deeside Leisure Centre on Sunday, according to coach Shelley Evans-Mcveigh.

She said she was “so proud” of their efforts which had earned the girls medals and ribbons with “amazing” performances.

Shelley said she and fellow intermediate class coach Emily Phillips wanted to thank the club’s other coaches and young leaders for helping the girls and whose “hard work paid off”.
