Grays invitational competition success

Girls from Intermediate and Development classes did themselves, their parents, coaches and the club proud at Sunday’s Grays invitational competition at Llandrillo college.

Some of the girls were competing in their first four-piece competition.

Lucy Mac was first up in the early session for the Intermediates and coach Shelley said she “smashed her competition” with 4th on vault, 4th on beam, 2nd on bar and she came 3rd overall.

Hannah came 1st on beam, Jeada was 5th on bar and 5th overall.

Development class coach Helen praised “super performances” with Amber taking 4th on vault, beam and overall and Lili got 5th on floor in the afternoon session.

A mixed group from Buckley competed in the final round of the day.

Lucy B came 5th on beam, vault and floor, 3rd on bar and 1st overall.

Maisie was 1st on vault, 3rd with floor, 2nd on bar and 2nd overall.

Mia was 1st bar and 6th overall.

Lizzie came 6th on beam and 3rd on vault with Lily-Ella 6th on vault.

Ava came 2nd on floor, Beanie was 4th on floor and Lily-Ella was 6th vault.

Proud coach Julie said: “Each and every girl from both Development and Inters performed beautifully and were a credit to the club and their parents.”
