Well done Aiyla!

AiylaHuge congratulations to Aiyla from the Advanced Class who has been selected for the Welsh Women’s Artistic Development Squad, writes coaching director Stan.

Aiyla is one of only 10 gymnasts selected across Wales in her age group and will now train once a month in Cardiff. Well done Aiyla.

Coach P explained that Aiyla spent her Easter weekend being tested on her strength, flexibility and her skills on each apparatus.

She also met members of the senior Welsh squad.

“Well done Aiyla,” said P. “You’ve done us all proud.”

It’s a boy!

Baby JoshuaA huge congratulations to our head coach Ceri and partner,  Graeme, who welcomed their baby boy, Joshua George, weighing 7lb 60z, into the world on 8 April. Congratulations to you both and we look forward to meeting Joshua soon.

Cardiff grades results

A big congratulations to all the girls who competed and passed their compulsory and national grades in Cardiff on Saturday, writes coach Danielle.

Compulsory Level 4 – Aiyla Griffiths

This was the first time in years that we’ve competed at compulsory level. Big well done Aiyla.

National Grade 1 – Amelia Bourne, Bella Bailey and Abi Hogg

Congratulations for finishing the national grades pathway, this is a big achievement.

Massive well done to Amelia who came 1st on range and Bella who came 2nd on vault.

Abi also performed and competed a Tsukahara on vault for the first time.

National Grade 3 – Zara Roberts

National Grade 4 – Mia Roberts and Macey Jones. Both were commended

All the coaches are proud of how hard they’ve worked for this weekend. Well done girls. And thanks to all the coaches and judges.
