Magical performance at Disney-themed competition
Team Lady and the Tramp
Girls from the advanced group travelled to Cardiff to take part in a Welsh Floor & Vault competition with a Disney themed twist on Sunday – and they came away winners.
Each team were allocated a theme and we had two teams; Lady and the Tramp and Tangled. Each team had to make a banner and a mascot was needed.
Following a hotel stay on Saturday night, the competition started on Sunday morning with gymnasts Bella, Elise, Amelia, Abi, Isabella and mascot Neve. Out of nine teams, our girls received a bronze medal.
Bella received a special award for artistry and the Lady and the Tramp banner won the best banner prize.
Team Tangled
The afternoon competition was for our younger girls; Zara, Megan, Lottie, Lydia and Zara R. Their Disney theme was Tangled and Milly was the mascot.
Thank to coaches Ceri, Sally and Bob for supporting the girls on the day and thank you to Danielle who was a judge.

Summer invitational: Entry confirmation needed
Can all Development, Intermediate and Pre-Advanced (Tara’s group) parents, let your class coaches know if your daughter will be entering the Buckley Invitational on the weekend of 9 & 10 July.
Pre Grades and Level 3 will be on Saturday, the other levels will mainly be on the Sunday.
Head coach Ceri needs all responses by Sunday 12 June.
Once Ceri has all entries she will be able to confirm which day your daughter is competing.
Entry for the competition is £6 and will be billed through your fees.
Last year’s competition was a great success with 10 clubs and almost 300 gymnasts competing in Buckley.
