It was another great competition weekend for club gymnasts, writes coach Danielle.
Well done to Amber, Darcey, Rosie and Ava who represented North Wales in the Welsh grade finals in Llanelli.
Regional grade 1: Charlotte and Lydia passed with highly commended.
Regional grade 3: All girls passed with Sophie and Ellie with highly commended and Niamh with distinction.
Big congratulations to Niamh who also placed 7th overall out of 78 gymnasts.
Well done to all gymnasts who competed in the Angel of the North competition in Liverpool over the weekend.
All performed beautifully receiving lots of execution ribbons, said coach Danielle.
Mia gained 6th position in national grade 4 and Cara achieved 7th place overall in regional grade 4.
In regional grade 3, Emilia gained 4th position with 7th place for Sophie and 8th for Niamh.

Well done to gymnasts competiting over the weekend at grades at Deeside Leisure Centre.
Coaches said they were very happy with the performance of the girls.
All gymnasts passed at grade 6 with Sophie coming 3rd on bar and 6th on vault, Daisy came 3rd on vault and Amber came 3rd on range and 5th overall.
At grade 5, Darcy, who was the first to compete on Saturday, came away with fifth overall.
At grade 4, Mia, Maisy, Abbie and Issy all passed with Ava, Rosie, Olivia and Cara receiving commendations.
In the out of age Grade 4, Lucy passed with Hannah receiving a commendation.
Meanwhile, in Sunday’s grade 1 and 3 ‘run through’, there were more medals and ribbons.
At grade 1, Lydia came 3rd on range, 1st on vault, 2nd on bar, 1st on beam, 3rd on floor and 2nd overall.
Charlotte was 1st on range, 3rd on vault, 1st on bar, 3rd on beam, 1st on floor and 1st overall.
At grade 3, coach Shelley said she was “very impressed” with Jessie, Niamh, Ellie and Emilia, who came 3rd overall, ahead of the grades proper at Llanelli next month.

Thanks to everyone who donated clothing to our recent recycling appeal and which weighed in at a total of 274kg. It helped us to raise £174.
