Step 1: Start with a nice wide straddle. Hands go flat on the floor with fingers facing forwards and thumbs tucked in towards fingers, not pushed out at right angles. Legs should be straight and toes pointed.
Step 2: By pressing down on the hands, start to raise the bottom into the air.
Step 3: The legs can then swing round. Note how the shoulders have to push forwards to allow this to happen.
Step 4: Hold a front support shape for a few seconds.
Step 5: In order to bring the legs back round, the bottom has to be lifted higher than the shoulders.
Step 6: Swing the legs back through, keeping the straddle nice and wide.
Step 7: Finish back in the straddle shape.
A big thanks to Olivia for demonstrating and to Milly for the photos.
